I'm back from Italy....it was relaxing, but not much work was done and it rained a bit too much!
I got to see Katie for a day though, she came up from Rome and stayed overnight and the weather was OK and we ate lots and lots!
She is going home soon and I am sending her my US SIM card and a CD, so for those of you who had my US number, it will be katie's for now.
Took me two days to do all our laundry and ironing, but it is done. So next week will be work time all the time. Might go to the nearby library for that to keep distractions to a minimum.

still kept off the 13 pounds I lost before vacations, so that is good.
I am going to Zurich for 5 days in August to visit the old family and just hang out.
THen will finish my dissertation for Septmeber 9th, and hopefully go see Silke after that for a week or so. Maybe I can talk my parents into getting me the ticket for my 25th birthday present...i am getting so OLD!
Then it will be back to the UK and hopefully a weekend away with Simon before I move to Geneva on October 9th....I already have the ticket.
Simon doesn't know what is going on with work, how long he will be with Esso, whether he will go to Budapest, if he'll go back to school or look for jobs in england, france, or switzerland.
So who knows what will happen with us.
It's been almost two years....
no one knows, right?
I miss Silke :( She leaves England tomorrow...but I know I will see her soon, and much like Jenny and Kathy, we'll be friends forever even if we only see eachother once a year, or even less...
